We track the response time of our Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team as a monthly average (in minutes). Tracking our emergency service response time is critical to understanding how we are meeting our community's emergency needs.

Timing can make all the difference in an emergency. We need to know whether we are on target with this metric so that we can examine the possible causes for delays in our response time and increase our ability to meet citizen's need in times of emergency.
